Malt Vinegar

I like vinegars. I like apple cider vinegar and even white vinegar although it’s better at washing windows than flavoring food.

Malt vinegar is a favorite, but expensive. Taking nothing from the tasty (and cheaper)  apple cider vinegar, I like London Pub malt vinegar. I use it in lots of things, including to add tang to ramen noodle soups.

Camera Ball

I wasn’t going to share this, but the previous Bob Brown post reminded me.

This thing is pretty cool in concept. I present it more as a curiosity than a recommended purchase. Imperfect, but interesting.

Meet Bob Brown

Bob’s an interesting fellow and has been blogging since 2001. I salute his consistency because I’ve been blogging about as long but have folded those older tents. Bob’s original tent is still standing.

Bob and I met during my MS Flight Sim days and Bob seems to have several loves. His roof is jam-packed with solar panels and water heaters. He adores cycling on his recumbent, and is fascinated with astronomy. He is also an avid Linux user; I think he likes Ubuntu.

Bob also enjoys sending cameras aloft in balloons and such. What better way to take snapshots of his rooftop solar panels? Bob’s blog is a click in my sidebar links. Or, just click here.

Linda Speaks

The actions of two idiot UC Davis police officers has outraged the world. This is a good 17 minute interview because it’s not just a stupid media snippet. In it, Chancellor Katehi says that the “Police protocol” which allowed these things to happen must be changed. She also placed both officers on administrative leave until her investigation ends and I hope both officers get fired, period.

I misjudged her. If you watch this entire interview, you may also think calling for her resignation won’t help matters one iota. Read about this fascinating woman here.

You may also agree the young woman conducting this interview has a future in broadcasting.
