70-Ingredient McRib
From a Lab in Nebraska to the McDonald’s Drive-Thru, the McRib sandwich is back but only until November 14th.
Wonder how pork-trimmings can be reformed into a McRib patty? Wanna meet the man who invented the process? Start with this link. Then again, you may just want to eat one and forget how it’s all done.
I’m reminded here of an interesting quote:
“Don’t let anything enter your stomach through a car window.”
Commodore 64 Returns
I remember both the Commodore 64 and its predecessor, the VIC-20. My first tinkering was done on a membrane-keyboard Timex Sinclair, but my first computer with a real keyboard was a VIC-20.
I Didn’t like the C-64 very much and stuck with my VIC-20 until, well . . . that’s another post.
What we have here may look like a Commodore-64, but the similarities end there. This one is fitted with a state-of-the-art keyboard, dual-core 525 Atom chipset capable of 3.3 GHz, 8Gb of DDR3 memory, a whopping 2Tb HD, and a version of Linux called Commodore OS Vision. Oh, it ain’t cheap, but neither was the original in equivalent dollars.
